Stick Mode

Stick Mode enables MiniMeters to carve space out around other windows on your computer when using the standalone MiniMeters application.

Only available on Windows and Linux.

Using Stick Mode on Linux requires an X11 Desktop Environment which supports the _NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE_DOCK Atom or a Wayland Desktop Environment which supports wlr-layer-shell.

To enable Stick mode:

Open MiniMeters
Click the Reposition menu in the toolbar.
Select “Stick” to enable it.

Enabling Stick mode on Windows will rearrange desktop icons. This is unavoidable and not a bug in MiniMeters.

Resizing

Windows

Windows users can simply resize the window by grabbing the edge and resizing as expected.

Linux

On Linux, you need to use the “Configure Height” option in the Reposition menu to adjust the height of MiniMeters.
