EULA: This End User License Agreement (the "Agreement") is a legal and binding agreement between user ("You" or "Your"), and Joseph Lyncheski, for the use of MiniMeters and its included VST3, Audio Unit, and CLAP plug-in on your computer or computers.
Date of Agreement: This agreement is valid as of version 0.8.12 of MiniMeters. This version was released on 04/12/2023
Downloads: The purchaser of the product may download the software as many times as necessary.
Multiple Installations:
Purchasing this product as an individual grants you the license to install and use this software on as many computers as you own and use. Prior to transferring ownership of your computer you must remove MiniMeters.
Purchasing this product as a company or organization grants you the license to use MiniMeters on as many computers as a single employee may be using at a given time. For instance, if two employees are using MiniMeters simultaneously, then two licenses of MiniMeters are required.
Distribution: You are not authorized to distribute or sell MiniMeters without the developer's permission. This includes, but is not limited to, distributing the demo or full version within a magazine, on a software download site, or as a component of another piece of software.
Copy Protection: You may not attempt to break any copy protection or licensing schemes present within MiniMeters.
Liability: By installing this software you agree to use it at your own risk. The user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims or damages arising from the use of MiniMeters. Including loss of data.
Copyright: MiniMeters owns the software and all trade secrets, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights therein.
VST is the trademark of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH.
Audio Unit is a trademark of Apple, Inc.

Privacy Policy:
Privacy during the purchase process: When purchasing MiniMeters through itch.io the developer gets access to the purchaser's email address but is not allowed to use that email address in marketing. For more information, please read itch.io's privacy policy at https://itch.io/docs/legal/privacy-policy
Privacy upon launching: When launching MiniMeters the software will connect to the itch.io API and get the latest version number. An example of this data is available at https://itch.io/api/1/x/wharf/latest?target=directmusic/minimeters&channel_name=macos
Privacy upon crashing:
When MiniMeters crashes it will attempt to save a crash log. This includes but is not limited to the operating system, the computer's specifications, the file path of the settings file (this may include the user's name). An example crash log can be found here: https://minimeters.app/example-crash-log/
MiniMeters will prompt the user and ask if they would like to automatically submit this crash log. Upon agreeing to submission that data is collected and submitted.
Third Parties: The developer will not share any data collected with third parties, except as required by law.
Data Usage: Data collected will be used only to improve MiniMeters and to troubleshoot issues that may arise.
Changes: This privacy policy may be updated on release of new versions of MiniMeters. The user will be prompted to agree to the EULA and Privacy Policy with each update either during installation or when opening the application.
