v1.0.19 - Bug Fixes & Usability Improvements

Released: Sep 21, 2025

  • This update is free for existing users.

Changes/Fixes:

  • Plug-Ins: Fixed an issue which could cause some other plug-ins to not restore their settings when used in a project with MiniMeters. This was most common on macOS Senoma and affected soothe2 and many other plug-ins. Thanks to oeksound for helping figure out the issue and providing reproduction steps.
  • Plug-Ins: Fixed an issue where the Debug Window would not show the timing information when using an "individual module" plug-in.
  • Plug-Ins: Fixed an issue in FL Studio where MiniMeters was not properly restoring settings.
  • General: Restored the automatic clean up of plug-in run logs.
  • General: Fixed potential crash that could occur when using context menus, creating pop-outs, or showing a save dialog.
  • General: The Reposition menu now shows a disabled Stick button with a description when used on systems where it is not supported.
  • General: The Settings page's appearance is improved when searching.
  • General: When searching for settings, searching for a module's name will now filter to all of the module's settings.
  • Linux: Fixed an issue where MiniMeters could hang when changing audio devices. (Thanks @24carrrot & @iamlocknar)
  • Linux: Context Menus now open, switch, and close on a 200ms delay to make it easier to select items in submenus.
  • Linux: Drag and Drop should now work as expected in the Spectrum module.
  • Linux (X11): Improved Context Menu closing behavior when clicking outside of an open Context Menu.
  • Linux (X11): MiniMeters no longer shows resize cursors when using "Stick" mode, as resizing is not allowed on Linux when using "Stick."
  • Linux (Wayland): Fixed an issue where the display resolution would not be queried correctly in some circumstances, causing strange behavior.
  • Linux (Wayland): Removed the VSync option from the FPS Limit menu due to the following: 1. An issue where clicking outside of a Context Menu while VSync was enabled would cause a hang. 2. On some compositors, MiniMeters would freeze if a popped-out module was left on another desktop/workspace. MiniMeters now defaults to a 60 FPS limit on Wayland.
  • Linux (Wayland): Context Menus should now close when clicking outside of MiniMeters.
  • macOS: Fixed an issue where the default cursor would be shown instead of the correct cursor after clicking out and back into MiniMeters.
  • Loudness: Fixed the "Enable" option showing in the Horizontal layout after switching to and from the Quad layout.
  • Spectrum: Fixed crash that could occur when opening the "Remove Reference" menu.
