Hey! My name is Joseph Lyncheski / Direct. I have been a professional musician for around 10 years now, releasing with Monstercat and various electronic labels. In around 2018 I became frustrated by the selection of audio metering software available. They were all extremely expensive, slow, only available as a plugin, or looked horrible. I wanted something extremely simple that would sit on my screen, monitor my system audio, and not have to be a plugin in the DAW.

I began looking into software development and started exploring that world. I initially wrote the tool for myself, but found every time I posted videos on Instagram of a song I was working on someone would ask about the metering software. After enough pestering I decided to publicly release the beta version of MiniMeters.

The goal is to make a simple, approachable, persistent metering app that does not break the bank. I believe just being able to see the waveform of commercial songs and being able to produce with the same visual reference for level and tone gives a huge advantage regardless of one's skill.
